I would like to share an unfortunate incident with a Mr. Steve Rafizadeh at Computronics at 11755 Wilshire Blvd.

I found myself in need urgently of a IDE Raid controller. I contacted several local computer equipment stores with no luck. Mr Rafizadeh at Computronics stated that they had the product in stock and the price was $59.95 (the going rate for a quality model via internet ordering). He asked to call me back after he confirmed they had the product in stock. I waited till they called me back to confirm they indeed had it in stock and sent someone to pick it up. What we got was a cheap knock off in an open box that he charged $69.95 for instead of the price he quoted over the phone. It was installed and after 30 minutes had only successfully copied 1% of the drive and in the process corrupted the master drive I was trying to mirror. I called the store and asked how late they were open and spoke with Mr. Rafizadeh and was told another 30 minutes until 7pm. Upon my arrival in 15 minutes I found the store closed and Mr. Rafinzadeh hung up on me twice when I called the store number and refused to so the right thing and take the defective bait and switch hardware back.

Stay clear of this business and this man. Quality and service are not part of their business model.
